Some interesting promo art has dropped from Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, giving us a very new look at Tenoch Huerta as Namor The Submariner, his cousin Namora, and Attuma. The images come from a source on Reddit, but we will also say that there has still not been any official word from Marvel about whether or not Namor is actually in the film. It seems like it is pretty much guaranteed at this point and one of the worst-kept secrets in the MCU.
While Attuma looks very much like he does in the comics, Namor and Namor have definitely gone through some design changes. In the leaked art, Namor is dressed more like an Aztec God than the typical Atlantean design we see him in on the pages of Marvel Comics (Probably to avoid confusion with Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman), and Namora is blue.
With Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever set to hit theaters on November 11th of this year, there’s a good chance that our first peek at the film could come as early as next week with the release of Thor: Love and Thunder, but there’s a better bet that all will be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
