Sacha Baron Cohen had a massive box-office hit on his hands when ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ earned over $260 million at the box office in 2006. It is now being reported that the actor has already shot and screened a sequel to the film in secret.

Reports started floating around in the last couple of months that Cohen had been seen around LA in his Borat costume, and that the actor was filming something. There’s even a video (see below), of the actor filming a scene with him driving a car that is hitched up to a filming van. According to a report from Collider, the new movie has already been screened for industry executives.

What do we know about the movie? Absolutely nothing. If we had to guess, it’ll be heading to either Netflix or HBO Max, as it works better as a magnet for new subscriptions as opposed to being the kind of movie that needs to be experienced on a large screen. As to what Borat will be doing in his new film? Well, he’s heading into an America in the middle of a pandemic, the rise of the Karens, tremendous amounts of civil unrest, and an election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden… we think he’s probably got more than enough to work with.
