It was announced a few weeks back that Harrison Ford would be taking over the role of General Thunderbolt Ross after William Hurt passed away earlier this fall. Now we are getting a little bit of news about the state of the character as we’ll see him when he appears in Captain America: New World Order.
According to Thunderbolt News on Twitter, Ford’s version of the character will be getting multiple upgrades in both his political position and power. He’ll now be the President of the USA and, as everyone has been expecting for years, he’ll finally be making the transition to The Red Hulk.
The film also marks Anthony Mackie’s first solo outing and the return of Carl Lumbly as Isiah Bradley and the return of Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader. Captain America: New World Order is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
