News has just hit that Screen Gems have put a quarter in the machine and bought the film rights for Capcom’s ‘Devil May Cry’ series. The hope is that this isn’t just a one shot deal either. With luck, they are hoping to make Dante the center of a franchise… cause that worked so well for Prince of Persia….
It seemed natural for Screen Gems to pick up the license as they are no stranger to Capcom… you know with the 17 Resident Evil films and everything like that.
With game sales of over 10 million copies, there are pretty high hopes that Devil May Cry may be a staple in theaters for the next decade if not more.
