Disney and Dwayne Johnson Team Up For ‘Jungle Cruise’ Movie

This has been in the rumor mill for a while, but one of the busiest men, not just in Hollywood but, in the entire world has just signed on to what might be the beginning of another movie Franchise. Disney has made so much money on their park attraction to movie adaptation of Pirates of the Caribbean that it’s almost made up for box office failures like Eddie Murphy’s Haunted Mansion, The Country Bear Jamboree, and Tomorrowland. Now, it’s time to roll the dice again, but this time they’ve got The Rock in their corner.

Dwayne Johnson has now officially signed on to star in a movie based around the classic Disney attraction: The Jungle Cruise. The report came to us through THR, who announced the star, who is currently promoting Fate of The Furious, and will soon be out promoting his next films: Baywatch and Jumanji, has officially signed on to the Jungle Cruise and has seen the new script. The real news here is that he’s even got room in his schedule right now to take on another big tent pole property. Then again, the report mentioned nothing about his show Ballers or his upcoming Doc Savage movies… The next film on his slate before filming Jungle Cruise is the movie adaptation of the video game classic, Rampage. Jungle Cruise is set to begin filming in December.

If Johnson doesn’t warn someone about Ginger during the film, I’ll be disappointed. After All, Ginger snaps…

If you’ve never been on Disney’s Jungle Cruise, here is the full experience for you:
