Last month, it was announced that Paul Rudd would be taking the lead in Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man for Marvel. Now, Wright is dropping hints on which Ant-Man will be featured in the film and it’s looking like it might just be Scott Lang and not the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym.
The clue comes from a pic that Wright just posted on his website from the animated series: Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The image is from an episode called: “To Steal an Ant-Man.” In it, Scott Lang swipes the original Ant-Man equipment from inventor Hank Pym, and uses it for crime.

Here’s what Wright told fans about how he’d like to do an Ant-Man film all the way back in 2006:
Is to have a film that basically is about Henry Pym and Scott Lang, so you actually do a prologue where you see Pym as Ant-Man in action in the 60′s, in sort of “Tales to Astonish” mode basically, and then the contemporary, sort of flash-forward, is Scott Lang’s story, and how he comes to acquire the suit, how he crosses paths with Henry Pym, and then, in an interesting sort of Machiavellian way, teams up with him.
