What would happen if all the technology in the world suddenly died? That’s exactly what Jon Favreau and J.J. Abrams explore in their new series this fall on NBC. Now, thanks to all the publicity from the network upfront presentations (That special time of year when the networks announce what shows got canned, what shows will get renewed and what new shows are coming up this fall), we get a chance to see a nice, extended promo for the series… and it looks interesting to say the least. Sure, some people might draw some parallels to shows like Jericho, but I don’t really see it.
The basic story revolves around the idea that one day all tech dies on the earth. Then, the story picks up several years later… myestery, action, romance, and spooky Abrams stuff abounds.
