We suffer from reboot and remake fatigue as much as anyone, so we haven’t really paid that much attention to the upcoming remake of the classic Agatha Christie work, Murder on The Orient Express. However, the first trailer for the film just dropped and, no matter how this movie turns out, it’s too big for us not to talk about it.

The latest adaptation of the classic novel is being directed by Kenneth Branagh, and produced by Branagh, Ridley Scott, and Simon Kinberg. It is starring Branagh in the role of Detective Hercule Poirot, and features an A-List ensemble cast that also includes: Tom Bateman, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Marwan Kenzari, Olivia Colman, Lucy Boynton, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Sergei Polunin.

It will be interesting to see more from the film as the marketing ramps up. Honestly, I’m not really sure how I feel from just this first little bit. That said, I’m really happy to see Michelle Pfeiffer back in big films.
