Dominique Thorne, the actress tapped to play Ironheart/ Riri Williams in the upcoming MCU TV series on Disney+ won’t be making her debut on the small screen according to Kevin Feige. It turns out that she’ll actually be popping in on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. We don’t know if this is just a cameo or whether the new character will have a larger role to play in the new film.
Here’s what Feige said about the debut to Comicbook.com at the premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend Of the Ten Rings:
“We’re shooting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in Black Panther 2 first. She started shooting, I think, this week before her Ironheart series.”
