the Suicide Squad recently made their live action debut on The CW’s Arrow. Now, it appears that Warner Bros is looking to get the movie going and they want FURY director, David Ayers behind the camera.
The movie has been talked about for years by producer Dan Lin. He envisions it as a Dirty Dozen style film, set in the world of super villains and a team consisting of Deadshot, King Shark, Captain Boomerang and Harley Quinn. Justin Marks, who is currently working on Top Gun 2, turned in the script he was hired to write over three years ago.
As to whether or not it will actually happen, if Marvel makes Deadpool, you can guarantee that Suicide Squad won’t be far behind. As you probably saw yesterday, Deadpool has now been set for a 2016 release date.
