It was almost a year ago to the day that Jeremy Renner was nearly killed when he was run over by a snowcat. The Avengers actor suffered “eight ribs broken in 14 places. Right knee, right ankle broken…left ankle broken. Right shoulder broken. Face, eye socket, jaw broken. Lung collapsed.”
With the support of his family, the studio, and probably millions of dollars, Renner is up and ready to get back in the game according to his co-workers. Yesterday, his ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ co-star, Emma Laird took to social media with a picture of the two of them and the message: “It’s happening” and “Back with my favorite guy next week.”
The popular Hulu series actually dropped its second season just a couple of weeks after Renner’s accident. According to Deadline, the show, along with Stranger Things, Criminal Minds, and The Old Man, are all slated to start production on their next seasons on January 3rd.
It’s amazing to think how close Renner was to being killed on New Year’s Day this year. To see him back and on set in just a year is pretty super.
