Holy crap. If there was any question of how dark Tim Burton’s new Alice in Wonderland adaptation is going to be, Johnny Depp just answered it with a photo that would make John Wayne Gacey wet himself with fear.
As you probably know, Depp has been picked to play the Mad Hatter in Burton’s Wonderland. Johnny-Depp.org just released this image of him as the mercury-crazed haberdasher. There’s no word on if this is the official costume, but if it is, Alice in Wonderland may be the scariest movie ever made. Have a look for yourself:
