Russell Crowe can’t seem to get enough of comic book movies. First, he played Jor-El in Man of Steel. Next, he’s set to play Zeus in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder with Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi. Now it’s being reported that he’s just joined the cast of the upcoming Spider-verse film, Kraven The Hunter.
THR didn’t have any details on the role, which will be alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven, but there is some speculation that he could be a family member, or possibly Kraven’s mentor, a mysterious character from Marvel comics known as Gregor. Kraven the Hunter is currently set for a January 13 2023 release.
