Officially, there’s no word of a video game based on The Mandalorian in development right now, but if you are going to believe this leak via Gamefragger, there is not only a game, but it is far enough into development that footage like what we’re seeing below is there to leak out.
In the footage, we join Din Djarinn at what appears to be a time after the events of season 2 of the series. Our main clues are that he’s got the Beskar spear, but he doesn’t have baby yoda/ grogu by his side. We didn’t see any evidence of a dark saber, but we don’t know what to say about that.
There’s really no details here, just speculation. The four-minute demo shows us a 3rd person shooter where you play as Mando and you have to do a lot of stealth and distance shooting, combined with some basic puzzling. All we can say at this point is that it looks cool, and we can’t wait to see more. We are also dying to find out whether this new game will be considered part of The Mandalorian’s Canon, or if this is just a game that exists in its own reality.
