Liam Neeson continues to be one the busiest men in Hollywood. Along with his upcoming “One Million Ways To Die In the West” and his upcoming return for Wanted 3, he’s now signed on to star in Martin Scorsese’s film, Silence. He’s joining the already cast Andrew Garfield and Ken Watanabe.
This is a big win for Scorsese who has been dreaming to make the film for the last 20 years.
The story is based on Shusako Endo’s novel about Portuguese Jesuit missionaries who travel Japan to investigate reports of Christians persecuted and tortured by the Emperor of Japan.
Interestingly, the project was pushed back so many times by Scorsese that he was sued by the film’s producer last year and it was just settled on January 17th of this year.
