The search for Goose’s son is over. Despite several rumors that X-Men star, Nicolas Hoult would be suiting up as the son of the former Top Gun, it is now been confirmed that Whiplash star Miles Teller has landed the role. Teller and director Joseph Kosinski recently worked together on the film, Only the Brave.
Right now, Teller is joining a cast that includes Tom Cruise (Maverick) and Val Kilmer (Iceman). There’s no word on whether Meg Ryan will be coming back, but it could be an excellent re-launch opportunity for the star who hasn’t been active in the last few years.
