Netflix Daredevil Season Two Promo Should Just Be Called Punisher vs Daredevil

The story for this season of Netflix’s Daredevil is so big that they’ve split the trailer into two parts. We’ve got the first part for you to check out now, but the second half won’t be available until 2/26.

The good news is that the trailer is pretty freaking amazing. The majority of the focus is on Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, with some great shots of the further evolution of Matt Murdock’s costume and even a nice little tease at the end with Elektra.

I’m a little aggravated at Netflix. Sure, they’ll release the entire season of the show all at once, but they make us wait 2 weeks between trailers?

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
