The new trailer is out for what is destined to be the final season of The Punisher on Netflix. Sure, it hasn’t been canceled yet, but that announcement will probably come a week or two after the new season drops on January 18th. We already knew that Billy Russo/ Jigsaw was going to be the big bad of the season, but now we are getting a look at a lot more of the details behind this year’s main plot. Honestly, it looks like it could be kind of all over the place, but that could also be because this is just a trailer. The good news is that, whatever happens, it looks like it is going to be a dark and action-packed season!
Former marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace life as “The Punisher.”
