The First Peter Rabbit film didn’t blow anyone’s socks off. It had a viewer score of around 56%, but it made enough money that Sony decided a sequel was in order. Well. Here it is. James Corden is back as the titular bunny and Rose Byrne and Domhall Gleeson are returning as his adoptive human parents. This time around, Peter and his friends run away when they think that they’ll be forgotten after the humans have a baby. What results isn’t quite Babe: Pig in the city, but it has the potential of being cute, especially if you liked the original film.
In PETER RABBIT™ 2: THE RUNAWAY, the lovable rogue is back. Bea, Thomas, and the rabbits have created a makeshift family, but despite his best efforts, Peter can’t seem to shake his mischievous reputation. Adventuring out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of bunny he wants to be.
