If Peacock’s first look at the new Saved By The Bell revival didn’t make you feel old, then the Punky Brewster revival trailer should definitely do the trick.

Soliel Moon Frye, now Soleil Moon Frye Rebbnot is back as Punky, the spunky orphan who was raised by Henry Warnimont (The late George Gaynes of Police Academy fame). Now, Punky is all grown-up, her dog Brandon is either the grandpup of the original series dog or he’s some sort of immortal demon, and Punky is raising three kids of her own in what appears to be Henry’s old apartment.

If you’re wondering where the kids are from, she didn’t adopt them all, they seem to be a product of her former marriage with Freddie Prinze jr, who will also appear in the show. Punky’s best friend from the original series, Cherie Johnson will also be on-hand for comic hijinx.

Punky Brewster is slated to drop on Peacock sometime later in 2020.

Punky Brewster is a ten-episode reboot of the 1984 NBC sitcom. Produced by UCP and Universal Television, original series star Soleil Moon Frye set to reprise her role as the titular character, alongside Cherie Johnson, reprising her role as Punky’s best friend, and new stars Quinn Copeland (Waitress the Musical), Lauren Donzis (No Good Nick), Oliver De Los Santos (Occupation: Rainfall), and Noah Cottrell (Skyscraper). Freddie Prinze Jr. (I Know What You Did Last Summer) guest stars in the pilot as Punky’s ex-husband.
