THR is reporting that Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski have both just signed on to make a new fantasy comedy called Imaginary Friends. The film is written, directed, and co-starring the A Quiet Place director.
According to the report, Reynolds will lead the film as Reynolds will play “the man with the gift of imaginary sight, who has been tasked to recover discarded imaginary friends and prevent them from turning evil and threatening the world with their supernatural powers.”
In the meantime, Krasinski is in post-production on the A Quiet Place sequel and he’s about to premiere in season 2 of Amazon’s Jack Ryan series next month. Meanwhile, Ryan has just signed on to make a musical version of A Christmas Carol with Will Ferrell for Apple, and his Michael Bay-directed 6 Underground is set to drop on Netflix later this year.
