A pair of movie posters that will be distributed this weekend at SDCC 2010 reveals concept drawings of Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in action.

The poster for Captain America shows him on the front lines in battle during War World II. It is definitely inspired by the classic comic costume but slightly altered similar to the concept drawings revealed earlier in the month. Captain America will now sport brown leather gloves and military boots, while the iconic red stripes on his uniform will be straps that are a part of his belt.

Captain America will also lose his winged cowl but instead sport a helmet similar to his Ultimate design. His shield however, will remain the same.

Thor on the other hand, is similar to the shots we’ve all seen. In the concept poster he is battling his half-brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston). What’s interesting to note is that Thor will not have his classic helmet. We also get a good look at Mjolnir, which we saw at the end of “Iron Man 2.”

SDCC attendees will be able to grab their own posters starting this Thursday. Then on Saturday, the stars of both films will be in attendance to autograph the posters. Followed by the epic panel discussion on both “Thor” and “Captain America” starting at 6pm in Hall H with the cast and filmmakers.

“Thor” will be released on May 20, 2011, with “Captain America: The First Avenger” not hitting until July 22.
