While AMC execs and talent were more than happy to give out information on The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead during yesterday’s panels, they were much more tight-lipped about their most extravagant new project, the currently untitled Walking Dead/ Rick Grimes Movie.
With that said, we did get the very first teaser trailer for the movie and the big news that it won’t be coming to Netflix or AMC, but will instead be getting a first-run release in movie theaters.
Sadly, there’s no real details or even footage for that matter in the teaser. It’s just an animated helicopter flying towards a city skyline. We can assume that we’re seeing the copter that whisked Rick away from The Walking Dead. As to what’s going to happen from here? Who knows. We are just happy to have Andrew Lincoln back playing sheriff again.
