Deadline is reporting that the creator of shows like Family Guy, American Dad, and The Orville is leaving his long-time home of 20th Century Fox (Now owned by Disney) for a new mega-deal at NBCUniversal. According to the report, the new deal will go for at least five years and is worth at least $200 Million.

MacFarlane joins a growing roster of creators including Sam Esmail, Dick Wolf, Mike Schur, Tina Fey, and Robert Carlock, who all have deals with the network. Here’s what Dana Walden, chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment had to say about MacFarlane leaving his home at Disney.

“One of my oldest memories from Fox is of a young Seth MacFarlane hanging out in the halls of the studio. He entertained all of us with his incredible wit and hilarious observations. He is a brilliant artist and a great friend; and, there is no one we root for more than him. As a fan, I look forward to whatever he creates next, and as his studio partner on Family Guy, American Dad and The Orville, I feel lucky to be continuing an extraordinary partnership.”

From the sound of it, that means that we won’t be losing the current slate of MacFarlane-led series from non-NBCUniversal content streams.
