Stephen Fry To Play Detective’s Brother In Sherlock Holmes Sequel

Stephen Fry (Alice in Wonderland, Black Adder, V for Vendetta) has just recently signed on to play the role of Mycroft Holmes, the brother of Sherlock Holmes in the sequel to Guy Ritchie’s 2009 hit detective film.

He made the announcement during an interview this weekend on BBC Radio 5 Live.

When shooting begins later this year, he’ll be joined by both of the first film’s stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.

Fry is also an active blogger and the #1 most followed twitter celebrity in the UK. Here is his recent Keynote Address at the 140 Character Conference in London.
