The New trailer is out for the prequel film The King’s Man based on the Kingsmen franchise from Matthew Vaughn. The good news is that the new film takes a big enough change in tone from the last film that it might help draw distinction between it and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which disappointed both fans and critics.
The new film takes place in the aftermath of World War I and focuses on the formation and early days of The The Kingsmen group. In the movie, the group must go up against a cadre of historical villains, seemingly led by Rasputin. The tone of the film is much closer to the original film than the sequel and it’s put together an exciting cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Rhys Ifans, Tom Hollander, Daniel Bruhl, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, and Charles Dance.
