When you see how Maggie and Negan’s relationship ended in The Walking Dead, it’s hard to imagine them going on an adventure together to NYC, but that’s the premise of TWD: Dead City. At Wondercon over the weekend a new teaser was shown for the show along with the announcement that it would be hitting AMC on June 18th of this year.
So, what did we learn from the new teaser? If you were wondering what could be so important that it would make Maggie leave her son Hershel and take off to New York with Negan, the answer is in the question. Someone has taken Hershel and high-tailed it to NYC. Now Maggie is on a mission to save her son and she thinks Negan is the one to make sure her mission is successful.
