Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are reuniting once again for ‘Fast Five,” the fifth installment in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise.
“Fast & Furious” was Universal’s highest grossing film last year so it makes sense to keep cranking out sequel, because who doesn’t like fast tricked out cars and testosterone-laden relationships. According to Variety, “Fast Five” will not only reunite Diesel and Walker, but the original writing troops of Chris Morgan and Justin will also be reunited to pen and direct, respectively.
“Fast Five” will center around Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by “legendary lawmen.” We’re expecting a good old modern Dukes of Hazard spin but with more tricked out and ridiculous cars.
“Fast Five” will begin filming later this year and won’t be out until 2011.
