There’s a new rumor floating around that, if it’s true, makes me pretty happy. We already reported a couple days ago that Looper’s Rian Johnson would be helping Star Wars Episode 8, but now there’s a story floating around that Disney has already asked JJ Abrams to come back and finish this new trilogy.
This makes me very happy. Sure, I’m still petrified that the film will have so many lens flares that I’ll have to wear sunglasses in the theater, but this means that Disney has been so happy with what they’ve seen of The Force Awakens that they want him back to finish it up.
