According to Entertainment Weekly, 18-year-old international singing star Charice is set to join the cast of Fox’s mega hit “Glee” next season as a recurring character.
She will play a foreign exchange student and become a singing rival to Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) giving her some serious competition.
At 16, Charice became a YouTube viral sensation with her rendition of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.” Since then, she has appeared on several international singing competition shows, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
In May, she released her self-titled debut album.
