Pinkie Cooper and the Jet Set Pets Dolls
The Pinkie Cooper dolls are the newest creation from the minds behind Bratz. If you are looking for a different kind of fashion doll besides the standard Barbies this year, you can’t get more different than women with dog heads. On the surface, these dolls offer a lot of the same play options you’d get from the other dolls on the market, but when you look closer, there’s a great feature that will probably save you money in the long run. I’ve seen many a little girl try to manually change the hair style of their doll with a pair of scissors. With the Pinkie Cooper dolls, the hair is attached at the ears and can be popped out and interchanged with the other dolls and even the smaller pet dolls that can be purchased separately.

Star Wars Black Series 6” action figures
Star Wars action figures have been around since the 1970’s. For the most part, they’ve only been available in 3 and ¾” size. Enter the Black Series, a new line of highly detailed 6” figures that any child or grown-up would love to have. These are some of the most beautiful figures I’ve ever seen from Star Wars. The only challenge that the coolest ones, like Boba Fett , are really hard to find. Disney Palace Pets
If you have a girl in your life under the age of 10, chances are that you’ve heard enough about Disney Princesses to last a lifetime. Until now, all those girls got to play with were the dolls of the actual princesses. Now, there’s a whole set of their pets up for grabs as well. There are multiple lines in the Palace Pets product group, and we tried out two to get a sense for what they were like. First up, were the talking and singing pets. They run around the same size as My Little Pony, and they’ve got a fun, fluffy tail that you can style with the included brush. The big feature on these is that when you press their necklace, you get several sayings and some singing from the little critters. The other line we checked out were the primp and pamper ponies. They run a little bit smaller and don’t speak, but they do come with more accessories to help extend play. The short answer here is that if your kid loves Disney Princesses, she’s probably already asking Santa for their Palace Pets this year.

Sky Viper Quadcopter
The Sky Viper Quad Coptor from SkyRocket is one of the many new Quads that you can buy this Christmas, but we liked this one the most for a couple of reasons. First, it is durable as all get out. We hit many a wall, tree, and patch of pavement with it, and it still kept ticking. What was even more important to us though, was the that with all the fancy stuff it has like computer-controlled 6-axis gyro and accelerometer stabilization, it also has a dial on it so that you can adjust the difficulty of operation from beginner to expert. That way, the kids can play with it on expert, and dad still looks like he knows what he’s doing!
