It turns out that the best way to learn about upcoming Marvel Movies in recent years has been through the toys and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is no different. The look and design for Iron Heart’s MK 1 armor was already revealed a few weeks ago, but now we are getting a first look at what the more polished, MK 2 armor will look like. The look comes to us via Twitter where an eagle-eyed shopper in Canada spotted the merch on shelves.
Inside the costume is none other than Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/ Iron Heart. You can bet that her MK 1 armor gets her an invite to Wakanda in the upcoming sequel, and that the upgrades come with an assist from Shuri.
In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanalli.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever lands in theaters theaters on November 11.
