2600: A Musical Holiday Tribute to the Atari 2600 by Jonathan Coulton & John Roderick

Jonathan Coulton has been writing the songs that make geeks happy for years now. He’s done everything from his famous zombie song and First Of May, the theme song for outdoor sex to the end song from Portal and the song that became the theme for the animated series Code Monkeys. Now he’s back with a holiday album that he’s recorded with John Roderick and we have one of the songs from it for you here today. The song is 2600 and it’s a tribute to one of the world’s greatest gaming systems.

If you are too young for this song to mean anything to you, just swap out the word NES, Sega, Playstation, Wii, or 360.
