A state trooper who pulled over a minivan and arrested a woman for speeding in Schereville, Indiana had difficulties locating any sober relatives to pick up her 1-year-old son.
According to the trooper, when the father arrived later to pick up his son, he was determined to have also been under the influence and arrested on drunken driving charges.
Following the arrest of the boy’s father, his grandparents were summed to retrieve him. When they arrived however, they too had also been drinking. Fortunately, the grandmother who drove was not over the legal limit. As a result, officers watchfully escorted them home with the child.
