Can you imagine how different the world would be today if we’d had heard this speech instead of “One Small Step…” I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Neil Armstrong over the weekend. He quite literally changed the course of humanity with a simple sentence. Looking back, it is interesting to see that the Nixon administration was prepared in case that historic moment turned into a historic tragedy.
