Blade the turtle had a big problem, a growth disorder in his leg left him unable to get around. Thankfully, Blade’s veterinarian likes LEGOs. When Blade’s human brought him into the vet, it turned out that he was a real mess. He not only had a leg disorder, but he also was chock full of worms. While medicine was used to cure the infestation, his vet, Dr. Carsten Plischke turned to his childhood for a solution to Blade’s mobility problems. The result was a custom built set of Lego wheels that helped Blade get back on his three good feet and get moving again.
The best news is that with continued treatment, Blade will eventually be able to regain the use of his bad leg.
