Art really is what you want it to be, and the medium you choose to express yourself can be whatever you want. For artist David S. Palmer, he wanted his portraits made with bullets to evoke a strong metal imagery that is attached to them.
According to David, the idea behind “Bullet Proof Art” is the hope that viewers will feel the agony and then see the miracles that can arise from choosing to create rather than destroy.
Some of his works include Abraham Lincoln, John Lennon, John F. Kennedy, Tupak Shakur and the ‘Duke’ John Wayne.
