There’s a really cute little animated film that popped up online in the last couple days from France called ‘MORTYS’. It’s the tale of Death and the trouble that she has balancing her work life and her family life. It’s not easy being a single mom, even if you have the power to take a live with the touch of a finger.
The animation style is pretty reminiscent (character wise) of the Niel Gaiman film ‘Coraline’. For a cartoon about death, it is surprisingly cute and endearing. It also makes me miss ‘Death jr’, the comic book/ video game/ toy line that never quite made it off the ground a few years back.
