Sunday morning, June 12 2011, Conan O’Brien got on stage and gave the commencement Address for the graduating class of Dartmouth College. The twenty five minute address is full of typical Conan style laughs and is definitely an entertaining watch. However, towards the end, O’Brien takes a turn and brings the speech home by turning it into one of the more personal and inspirational moments you’ll see on video any time soon.
As everyone knows, Conan O’Brien recently went through a pretty significant rough patch. He walked away from his dream job and was in the same position that many new graduates (and everyone else) seems to be finding themselves in lately. There’s a lot to be learned from someone who steps out on the wire after the safety net has been yanked out from beneath them.
