Daleks Invade British Pond

Sometimes picking up litter has its rewards. a group of volunteers were helping clean up a pond in the UK when they came across an interesting find. Among the litter they fished out were things like table football games and skateboards, but none of that compared to what Marc Oakland found when he started raking around in a shallow bed.

“I’d just shifted a tree branch with my foot when I noticed something dark and round slowly coming up to the surface.

“I got the shock of my life when a Dalek head bobbed up right in front of me.

“It must have been down there for some time because it was covered in mould and water weed, and had quite a bit of damage.

“One of the dome lights was smashed, but the eye-stalk was intact and the head and neck stayed in one piece as I carefully lifted it out.”

Pond warden Tony Brown, has decided to keep the area a secret so they don’t get a bunch of Doctor Who fans wrecking the environment in search of some baubles to put on eBay. Besides, after the head popped up, they did a thorough search and say that nothing else was found.

While they can’t be completely sure how old the Dalek head is, the general opinion is that it is from the 1980’s when Colin Baker played the Timelord.
