Disney Pulls Accidentally NSFW Minnie Mouse Merchandise From Website

Disney just wrapped up D23, but one of the most interesting stories isn’t about a new ride or Marvel film. It’s about some new Minnie Mouse merchandise that was released online yesterday that had to be quickly pulled when the internet noticed something that Disney’s merch teams seemingly missed.

The problems started even before the actual product was shown to fans. To pump up the new release, Disney Merch put out a Twitter post about Minnie’s new drip, but accidentally posted that Minnie Mouse was “Dripping with Excitement.”

While the platinum-dipped effect does actually sound pretty cool, metallics can sometimes look white when they are shown in product photography. The result was an unveiling that was more reminiscent of Only Fan than of the Happiest Place On Earth.

With pics and a description like they released, it isn’t too surprising how people reacted on social media.

Sadly, the ears have been pulled from Shopdisney, but the listing still pops up on Google if you search for Minnie Platinum Ears:
