The China Radio International reported yesterday that hundreds of dolphins were seen blocking the suspected Somali pirate ships when they tried to attach Chinese merchant ships passing the Gulf of Aden.
The dolphin herd appeared leaping out of the water in between the pirates and the Chinese merchant ships when they met in the Gulf. According to eye witnesses, the suspected pirate ships then stopped and turned away.
