FL Woman Arrested After Leaving Easter Eggs W/Porn, Goldfish Crackers in 400 Mailboxes

Florida might be under a shelter at home order, but that doesn’t stop Floridians from being Floridians. The latest instance of a Florida man (if Florida Woman in this case) story comes to us from Flagler County where Abril Cestoni now finds herself in jail on $7,000 bond for the weirdest Easter crime we’ve seen in a while.

According to reports, the 42-year-old Publix employee had been violating the stay at home order so she could sneak around and put Easter Eggs in mailboxes. These eggs weren’t filled with chocolate or Jelly Beans. Authorities told local news outlets that the Easter Eggs contained a fish-shaped cracker, a sheet of toilet paper, a powdered drink mix and a crumbled up pornographic image.

When confronted by police at a traffic stop after several residents called them about the whacked-out Easter Bunny, she had an excuse that no one was expecting.

“Abril stated she was ‘a church’ and had a business license. Abril said she was conducting research on local clergy and people deserved to know the truth,” the arrest report read.

Sheriff Rick Staly seems more than a little happy with himself and the arrest.

“Our team did a great job in tracking this deranged offender down and taking her into custody,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Thankfully she did not appear to be sick with COVID-19 symptoms, but she certainly needs some help. This again proves that ‘see something, say something’ works and we thank the community for being part of our guardianship policing philosophy.”

We completely understand why they chose to charge Cestoni with violating the statewide stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Ron DeSantis and at least 11 counts of distributing obscene material. It makes far more sense that she’s now sitting in jail on $7,000 bond, instead of being placed on a psychiatric hold where she might actually get some real help.
