As a kid, all I ever wanted was a Power Wheels, you know, those plastic battery powered cars for rich kids? Well, if I could go back in time I’d tell my little six-year-old self that the Power Wheels is actually kinda lame. Because why would any kid want a Power Wheel when they can have a Powered Mecha Suit?
Check out the Sakakibara Kikai’s Kids’ Walker. This is the stuff mecha anime dreams are made of. Sure, it may not transform into a Macross fighter jet, fire missiles or do anything relatively cool, but it’s still a mecha suit!! That ought to count for something, right?
Of course, there is a price for all this useless awesome. While a Power Wheels will run you a few hundred, the Kid’s Walker will run quadripple that at $22,000.
