Meanwhile, Transportation Security Administrator John Pistole mentioned how they plan to rethink the airline passenger screening procedures after it more controversial TSA stories emerged over the weekend.
“We’re going to look at how can we do the most effective screening in the least invasive way knowing that there’s always a trade-off between security and privacy,” he told the ‘Today’ show. “But in the short-term there will not be any changes.”
While White House, press secretary Robert Gibbs said the government is “desperately” trying to balance security and privacy and will take the public’s concerns and complaints into account as it evaluates the new, more stringent boarding checks.
