If North Korea’s Nuke skills are as good as their video editing skills, we don’t have a thing to worry about. That doesn’t mean that we still aren’t going to notice when another government threatens to destroy New York City with nuclear weapons.
That is what is apparently happening in this very weird video released by the DPRK earlier today.
The reason behind the video is that Kim Jong-Un is preparing his own weapons tests for sometime in the next week or so. Still, the video is really weird. It shows a nondescript city in flames while an instrumental (we are guessing karaoke track) of Michael Jackson’s “We Are The World” plays in the background.
The subtitles on the screen say
“Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing.
“It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself.”
The video ends with the lad concluding that his dream will “surely come true”.
“Despite all kinds of attempts by imperialists to isolate and crush us… never will anyone be able to stop the people marching toward a final victory.”
Oh, and that burning city in the background? It is New York… New York as pictured in the New York Harbor campaign from Modern Warfare 3.
