Kinect Hack: Real-Life Eye Of Sauron

Some really nerdy people at The Technology Studio in the U.K. have built a real-life Eye of Sauron from LOTRs using the Microsoft Kinect system and a Pufferfish globe-projection system. According to the creators, this was made by simply projecting an image of the Eye of Sauron on the globe’s surface and have the Kinect follow people’s movement. I’m sure it isn’t as easy as it sounds, but the end result is definitely worth it!
