‘Last Suppers,’ Photographic Series Documenting Death Row Inmates’ Last Meal

On more morbid days I’d daydream about what I’d have for my last meal if I were to ever be executed. And for whatever reason it made sense to me to order just about every food imaginable, eat as much as I can and rack up the largest bill possible.

Here’s a series of photographs entitled Last Suppers by James Reynolds where he documents former Death Row prisoners’ requests for their last meal before execution.

To be honest I am a little disappointed by the Death Row inmates’s last meal request. But I guess it would make sense… you wouldn’t have much of an appetite too if you knew you were going to die in a few hours.
