Yes… that is Stanley from “The Office”. He’s more than just a diabetic accounts rep for Dunder Mifflin. He’s also the singer of the party song of the year! It turns out that Baker is a lot more than just an actor. According to Wikipedia, he’s got a B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a M.S. Human Services Administration from Spertus College of Judaica in Chicago. Also, before teaching, he worked as a special education teacher.
Now that his new song has hit the airwaves, it looks like he’ll have a whole new opportunity ahead of him. Critics are very up on the song.
Jen Chaney of The Washington Post wrote that the song is “destined to be the party anthem at all your yuletide throwdowns,” ande Cameron Mathews of Spinner described the hook as “infectious” and the lyrics as “totally [capturing] the daydreams of a middle-aged man in crisis
We aren’t middle aged, but we’ve got to admit – the song is really catchy!
