Before we had keyboard cat or long cats or even ceiling cats, we had the cats who filled the newsreels of the 1930’s. This clasic newsreel from 1937 is from a series that was created by Chevrolet. I’m not entirely sure why… there is nothing even remotely car related in this little film… but it sure is fun to watch.
Don’t worry about animal cruelty, the animals are wearing boxing gloves… and PETA wasn’t around back them to teach them any different.
We definitely wouldn’t advise you to do this with your cats, but there’s no harm in watching this funny piece of history.
